Someday, far away,
Unable to be here,
Presence, eye’s blink away.
Hiding in nightshade,
Surrounding night’s beings,
Dark matter, Light matter stars,
Illuminated sky’s lighting paths,
Guiding, caring the brood.
Someday, far away,
Universe imagined known,
Moves away, replaced.
Changing time, moving planets,
Bending the cosmos itself,
Crafting new wormholes,
Granting safe passage, new life’s
Guiding, caring the brood.
Someday, far away,
First image of life,
Fleeting moments in long journeys,
Lost to last mortal breaths.
Destiny completes cycles,
Lifetime together doesn’t complete.
Star presence surrounds,
Ever-present everywhere,
Guiding, caring the brood.
Someday, far away,
Faded memory, locked images
Digital frayed lockers with no recall.
Universe re-crafted, Cosmos re-shaped,
Nightshade given to new light,
Existence set anew,
Past no memory, Cleansed, replaced,
Imprinting new memory prints.
Perhaps, a star streak
Forces a look upwards,
Eye’s blink, shutter, capture,
Ever-present star presence,
Guiding, caring the brood.
